State of Rossland Community Grading Survey

Now available at: Surveys must be completed by April 15, 2011. Paper copies are available for pick up at City Hall.

Rossland Neighbourhoods of Learning - Community Education Forum

*Tuesday, March 1 at 6:30 pm in the RSS Gym*

There will be representatives from other K-12 schools at the meeting to help us understand how their schools work and the opportunities and benefits of a K-12 school, as well as address questions about the proposal sent to the school board.

State of Rossland Indicator Survey

The Sustainability Commission launched an Indicator Survey today to gather information regarding residents’ sense of community, participation in recreation and satisfaction with Rossland governance. 

Climate Change Adaptation Report and Recommendations

The Climate Change Adaptation Steering Committee has completed and voted to approve their final Climate Change Adaptation Report and Recommendations for submission to Columbia Basin Trust. This report has been approved by the Sustainability Commission and will be presented by the Commission to Council in October. The documents can be downloaded here:

State of Rossland Final Indicators Package

The final set of indicators for the State of Rossland project was approved by City Council on February 22nd, 2010 and is available for download here: Final Indicators Package.

Work is now proceeding on the preparation of a State of Rossland Report Card based on the final set of indicators. The Report Card will be available in July 2010. Read more about the project in the State of Rossland Section of this website.

Nomadic Entrepreneurs Report Completed

The Economic Development Task Force has completed its study of Nomadic Entrepreneurs. Read about its findings as well as its recommendations to the City with regard to how we can attract more Nomads. The final version of the report and the appendix can be downloaded here:

Annual Report for 2009
