Visions to Action Climate Change Event

Join us Wednesday, Sept 14th: 7:00pm-8:30pm at the Rock Cut Pub in Rossland to watch Al Gore's latest Climate Change Event and stay for a bit of discussion afterwards.

Al Gore, founder and chairman of The Climate Reality Project, hasn't stopped trying to get the world’s attention about climate disruption. The project is launching a global event Sept. 14-15 called 24 Hours of Reality. 24 hours of live online streaming of people and places that have experienced devastating extreme weather beginning in Mexico City and traveling around the world to Tonga, Cape Verde, Jakarta, London and elsewhere.
The event in our time zone (which starts at 7 p.m. Sept. 14): Haida Gwaii, a chain of roughly 150 islands located off the coast of British Columbia, northwest of Vancouver, which has been impacted with intense storms and high tides.
“The climate crisis is a global problem we all share,” said Gore in a statement. “And real solutions can only come when we address it together.”
