***Rossland Earth Day Celebration!***

Location: Rossland Miner's Hall

An afternoon and evening event to celebrate this amazing earth we live on AND the fantastic things going on in Rossland.

Program:

1:30-3:00pm 

Backyard Chicken Crawl with the folks from Rossland REAL Food (Meet at Cook Ave Ball Diamond) - learn about how others are keeping chicken safe from the wildlife! Get ideas for your own backyard chickens!

Earth Walk along the new Lui Joe Trail (Meet at the Miner's Hall) - go on a community walk through the new Lui Joe Trail! Be sure to wear your gum boots as things are still a bit mucky!

3:00-5:30pm

Community Expo - Displays and demonstrations by local organizations and businesses (plus some art fun for the kids)

5:00pm

Children's Performances from MacLean Elementary School

5:30-8:00pm

Community Potluck Dinner and Live Music!! - Bring a salad or dessert to contribute to the veggie lasagna community potluck!  Please bring food no earlier than 5:00pm as fridge space will be limited. Bringing your own dishes would be very helpful too!
