Earth Box - Build a self-watering, container for growing veggies & flowers

Join Craig Delong at the Rossland Mountain Market on Thursday May 16th for a demonstration on how to build a self watering Earthbox for container gardening.   3-6 pm on Queen St in downtown Rossland.  Can't make it?   Find the instructions here

Free Electric Vehicle Test Drives

Sign up here for a free test drive of a fully electric Chevy Bolt on Saturday April 27th.  Test drives depart from the Queen St parking lot (behind KSCU) in downtown Rossland.

Interested in helping the City of Rossland be a leader in Sustainability?

Rossland’s Sustainability Commission (SC) is looking to fill several key volunteer positions to advance municipal energy and food systems initiatives, among other sustainability projects.

The Sustainability Commission, founded in 2009, works to support our municipality’s sustainability goals. 

Besides a desire to see our community innovate and tackle pressing challenges, applicants should have a background in ANY of the following areas:

Let's squeeze some juice! Rossland's Sustainability Commission and Happy Hills Farm will host two community apple pressing dates this fall: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2017 and SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2017 between 9 am - 3:30 pm.
