2018 Earth Day Celebration Events

Thursday April 19th

Seed Planting for Kids with Gill

3 - 4pm Rossland Library  
Plant some seeds.  Take them home and watch them grow!


Saturday April 21st

Trash to Treasure Day 

9am – 4pm
Place used household items at the curb for treasure seekers!  Put a big FREE sign on them.  Remove any unclaimed treasure from the curb by 4 pm.


Saturday April 21st

Rossland Mountain Market 

Outdoors on Queen St.  12 – 4 pm
Eat the Kootenays:  Farm, Food & Drink

E-Bike Show-n-Shine

12 -2 pm  Rossland Library

With the improvements to battery technology and electric bike design, electric bikes have become an attractive option for running errands and commuting in our mountain towns.  Come check out a range of e-bike commuters including electric town bikes, mountain bikes, fat bikes and road bikes.  The owners will be there to chat with you about their bikes and their experiences using them as commuters.
